More Than 500 Bonadio Group Employees Participate in Purpose Day
Rochester, N.Y., August 6, 2021 — For the fourth consecutive year, employees from The Bonadio Group joined together for the firm’s annual Purpose Day on August 5, donating their time to local non-profit organizations. Each of The Bonadio Group’s offices, across New York State and beyond, were closed for the day to ensure all employees had the opportunity to participate and give back to a worthy cause.
Roughly 520 employees from across the Bonadio Group’s footprint volunteered at more than 20 regional and national organizations, including:
- Albany: Boys & Girls Club of Schenectady, Boys and Girls Club of the Capital Region, St. Anne’s Institute, Trinity Alliance, Alternative Living Group and Aim Services, Inc.
- Buffalo: VIA WNY, OLV Human Services, Cantalician Center, The Belle Center, St. Luke’s Mission
- New York City: Adapt Community Network
- Rochester: Heritage Christian Services, Al Sigl, Lollypop Farm, Lifetime Assistance Inc., Villa of Hope
- Syracuse: City of Syracuse
“Generosity, service and teamwork are some of the key pillars of our purpose-driven culture at The Bonadio Group,” said Bruce Zicari, CEO, The Bonadio Group. “Purpose Day is really meaningful to our firm since it provides all of our employees with the chance to give back and make a difference in our communities. We are so grateful that this year’s Purpose Day has returned to an in-person event following the challenging year of the pandemic.”
Last year, due to COVID-19, The Bonadio Group leveraged virtual volunteering opportunities to keep employees and communities safe while giving back to some deserving causes. The firm plans to continue its Purpose Day tradition as an in-person event in the years to come.
