Ryan is the Director and PCI Practice Lead at FoxPointe Solutions, a Division of The Bonadio Group. In this role, he is responsible for helping clients protect their critical assets, safeguard sensitive information (PII, PHI, CHD), improve their security posture and programs, and achieve and maintain regulatory compliance. With more than 15 years of experience, Ryan’s background includes professional services consulting, governance, risk and compliance, IT management, systems administration, and IT help desk. His expertise in IT and information security enables him to simplify compliance for organizations, provide guidance and remediation recommendations, conduct security and compliance assessments (e.g., PCI DSS), and maintain a commitment to professionalism and high-quality work. Ryan has served as a trusted advisor to clients of all sizes—from small and medium-sized businesses to global enterprises—across multiple industries, including retail, healthcare, state and local government, higher education, utilities, airlines, gaming, and software.
Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife and newborn daughter in Southern California. His personal interests and hobbies include hiking, traveling, gardening, and professional sports. Over the years, Ryan’s passion projects have ranged from custom PC building and creating a ‘Hackintosh’ to setting up a Raspberry Pi as a ‘Retro Pi’ gaming console, building a home lab for learning, and working on various cybersecurity and IT-related projects.
