Rochester, N.Y., June 21, 2022 – The Bonadio Group, a nationally ranked Top 50 CPA firm, renews its commitment to an unparalleled employee experience with the launch of To Be Greater (TBG), a campaign that supports the firm’s continued investment in their people. To Be Greater emphasizes the unique attributes of The Bonadio Group’s culture, as well as the firm’s focus on the future.
The campaign was introduced yesterday at & More Day, The Bonadio Group’s annual all-employee event. & More Day embodies the spirit of To Be Greater by celebrating the successes of the firm and its people and providing a look at what’s to come. The campaign came to life throughout the event through a series of videos spotlighting employee stories and a number of awards recognizing professional accomplishments, volunteer service, and more.
“Our people have always been our greatest asset and number-one priority. That’s why we’ve been hyper focused on making the Bonadio employee experience second to none,” said Bruce Zicari, chief executive officer, The Bonadio Group. “This campaign highlights so many ways we constantly strive To Be Greater for our colleagues, clients, and communities—and it’s our people who make it all possible.”
To Be Greater launches during a time of rapid change in the accounting industry, marked by fewer professionals entering the field, the shift to remote work, and increased competition for talent. These segment-specific issues, combined with the realities of the post-COVID employment environment and the “Great Resignation,” make recruiting and retaining talent especially challenging.
The Bonadio Group has taken several actions over the past 18 months to strengthen its ability to attract, hire, and keep great people, building on its foundation as an award-winning place to work. Among other things, the firm adjusted its compensation and benefits to rank above the market average, conducted “stay interviews” to gather feedback from employees about ways to improve performance and enhance culture, and developed strategies and solutions to reinvent work processes and improve work-life balance.
These recent steps expand and enhance The Bonadio Group’s established programs that contribute to an incredible employee experience and support the firm’s efforts To Be Greater. These offerings include unlimited PTO; work-from-home flexibility; a council for diversity, equity, and inclusion; firm-provided time off for community volunteerism; and a mentorship program that provides every person in the firm with a partner mentor.
“Given the rapidly evolving nature of our industry and the remarkable shifts in the employment environment, it’s more important than ever that we market and communicate our unique employee experience,” said Bob Enright, chief operating officer, The Bonadio Group. “We’re excited to share stories that demonstrate what it means To Be Greater for everyone we serve.”
