John G Roman

Chief Information Officer

John is the CIO of The Bonadio Group. He is responsible for the strategic direction, including leading the firm’s digital transformation and advocating for leveraging technology to enhance the firm’s employee and client experiences. John has over 40 years of information technology experience, 18 of which have been spent in the legal and accounting industries. As a member of the firm’s senior leadership team, he assists with the advancement of digitally modernizing traditional processes. He is a published writer, featured speaker, and press advisor on information security and technology trends.

A native of Rochester, NY, John’s activities outside the office include being a member of the boards of directors for Literacy Rochester and Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Rochester. He is also a former adjunct professor at The Rochester Institute of Technology. John is currently an adjunct professor at Monroe Community College. He and his wife have two grown children and enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, hiking, the New York Yankees, and physical fitness. One of John’s favorite memories and something he now looks forward to working at The Bonadio Group was his first “Purpose Day,” the company’s annual day of service.
